just saw that was missing:
In short: after having packed my stuff I headed towards Hay, where I hoped to get some more information about the next days (which way etc).
The lady from the information was very kind, looking with me at the different alternatives. I had made my decision: north by the west, not by the main roads in the east. Some more adventure... I didn't want to have to easy;-)
Before leaving, she told me, I could have a shower at the men's lockroom. Hay seems to offer that prestation against 2$. For me, it was free... :-) (no, I was alone under the shower! *lol*)
Then, I wanted to avoid the experience of being eaten by mosquitos again. The evening before was quite what I wanted to have again: Trapped in the tent with all the stuff to eat outside while zzzzzzz all around and not possible to open the tent w/o being bitten.
So I went to the drugstore to buy some sun milk (cream is sticking to much in the hairs) and some "Bushman". The lady said, the red one is the best! Ok.. go for the red Bushman.
Later, I arrived at "One Tree" which is a nice small lake with an old hotel out of function. It was getting dark, just arriving for sunset. That mean: eating time for mosquitos! I took the spray and put some on legs arms and back. A wounder: no zzzz any more! :-))
A mother and her son passed by car and went to the hotel. And then they came back: to tell me that it is closed but that might the restroom would be open. They would invited me at their house, but they are living 35km and not on my way...
Anyway: I was relaxed as no mosquitos were around. Later in the tent and after some cooking, I read the notive on the spray-bottle: 40% of DEET! Ouch.. very healthy!
Time to go to sleep...
