Wednesday, 30th of March: Echuca - "Some-where-after-Deniliquin" (114km)

Hi Again
I started the day with some site-seeing:
1) The Murray River is Australia's biggest river (sorry: smaaaall river)
2) They have wheel boat like to Tom Sawyer's time. People are taking journey on it.
3) They had that day just a old car meeting... and rising as well funds for charity.
So I headed up north again... and had to cross my first "wall of smoke" as they were burning some grasses at the left of the road (wind came from the west): you don't see more than 20meters, like fog but "warmer temperature". Then I saw my first hoping friend crossing the road... and reached Deniliquim or Deni for intims.
I spent some time again for telecommunication (connection of the netbook) and bought some stuff to eat for the next days. And enjoy the nice park with fountain... little refreshing.
Then I left again Deni towards the north. I wanted to do some more 20km to get nearer of my daily ratio of about 120km. I ended of with 115km as sun was setting. I just could set the tent before bugs attack: the mosquito up to three times bigger than the european can bite quite well. So as there was hundreds of mosquitos and I didn't want to open the tent to get some food, I ate one chocolate and one muesli bar.

Good night...
